This November, ITASCA will participate in Tailings & Mine Waste 2026 (TMW 2026), taking place from 8–11 November 2026 in Westminster, Colorado, USA. The event brings together engineers, scientists, regulators, consultants, and mining professionals to address the evolving challenges of tailings and mine waste management.

Hosted by Colorado State University in collaboration with the University of British Columbia and the University of Alberta, the conference focuses on geotechnical, environmental, and regulatory aspects of mine waste management, while promoting the exchange of practical experience, research, and emerging technologies.

For ITASCA, TMW 2026 represents an important opportunity to engage with the global mining community and contribute to conversations around tailings facility performance, risk assessment, numerical modeling, monitoring strategies, and long-term stewardship of mining infrastructure.

We look forward to exchanging ideas and exploring new approaches to responsible mine waste management.
