Fracture Energy Softening Model v7

The 3DEC contact model utilizes the fracture energy concept to simulate linear and polynomial elastoplastic softening in shear and tension. The developed contact models are suitable for quasi-static analysis of brittle materials, such as concrete, rock, and masonry.
